I’m known for big wave surf series shot across a full Nazaré season, observational set photography inside international commercial productions, and brand films I produce single-handed from script to final cut. Whatever the format, the work has one thing in common: I shoot where the thing is actually happening.
What shapes the work is an unusual route into it. Before I was behind a camera full time, I managed brands and e-commerce at a European level across six countries — so I read a brief the way the people paying for it do. The craft came later and from the inside: shooting stills on international sets taught me how a large production actually runs, and what a photographer owes it.
That mix shows in who I work with. I shot the Bank Cler campaign for agency neu., directed by Christian Schilling, through Sur Film — and shot behind the scenes on Lidl’s UEFA Women’s Euro campaign through Zauberberg. My four-film series on big wave surfer Wyllyam Santana passed 302,000 verified views across Caze TV and Canal UOL. I’m Brazilian, currently working between Portugal and Brazil.
